For Christmas Eve I ordered a lot of food from Paul Chen's for 10 people, many of whom, had specific requests. It arrived on time; hot; and exactly as ordered...with a few orders of crab wontons thrown in as a bonus. Monica, who took my order, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was great; all of it; not a clinker in the bunch. Thanks, Paul Chen's.
Lunch Buffet (Tues-Sun 11am-3pm) = 6/5 stars Carryout Food = 3/5 stars As a Baltimore County guy, I've been frequenting this area for school and work for the past decade, but I've never set foot inside Paul Chen until a week ago after their renovation. Say goodbye to the old, dingy place they had. This current version of Paul Chen looks clean and fresh. The chicken w/ black bean sauce dinner special for $8.75 after tax comes with either white or fried rice, and either a can of soda or an egg roll. Nothing to write home about, very meh - standard Baltimore City Chinese carryout food quality. 3/5 stars The lunch buffet... wow, this kind of Chinese buffet is only seen in the county. 3 buffet bars of food, with plenty of seafood and sushi, for only $10. The food was solid, taste wise and freshness wise. Incredible value, especially compared to the Indian buffets in Baltimore City that charges $11-14/person for 10-12 items with no seafood. Yes, they don't have as many items as the buffets in the county, but wow, there is no place like this in the city. Service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly at this family-owned joint. The teenagers working there helping out their family speak excellent English. Will definitely be back. P.S. this place is closed on Mondays, like many Chinese restaurants in the area
Delicious, Delicious, Delicious Every meal that I have had, no complaints. The service is very professional. Employees are very polite, they listen and are helpful in helping you to make a decision about your meal when needed. I personally love getting food from there and will be very happy when I can return to eating inside . The place is clean.
